Script Youth Musical Theatre Company (formally known as CLOC Youth Musical Theatre Company) is a local youth amateur theatre company based in North Birmingham, Mere Green for young people aged 9-19. Set up in July 2014 as CLOC Youth and re-launched as Script Youth Musical Theatre Company in November 2018 they have been rehearsing and performing musical theatre shows from Bugsy Malone to Wizard of Oz and many more.

Our July 2025 show of Legally Blonde Jr, will be performed at Highbury Theatre. Our Script Youth  September 2025 show of Beauty and the Beast will be performed at The Crescent Theatre. 

We pride ourselves in the professionalism of our plays and to help with that, we also arrange professional classes from Musical Directors, choreography, experienced performers and many other experts to assist the children in improving their stagecraft and acting skills.

New to Script Youth Musical Theatre Company is the launch of Script Youth Juniors which is for ages 9-15 and will be more focused on stage craft, vocal work, audition practice, dance and characterisation which will allow younger children to grow in skills and confidence to aid them to excel in future productions in both Script Youth and Script Youth Jr.
