Script Youth Musical Theatre Company (formally known as CLOC Youth Musical Theatre Company) is a local youth amateur theatre company based in North Birmingham, Mere Green for young people aged 9-19. Set up in July 2014 as CLOC Youth and re-launched as Script Youth Muscial Theatre Company in November 2018 they have been rehearsing and performing musical theatre shows from Bugsy Malone to Wizard of Oz and many more.

Having completed our shows Beauty and the beast X Unscripted songs from muscials in December and  Grease in summer 2022 at Highbury Theatre in Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield, We are currently now in full rehersals for Script Youths Summer 2023 show, School Of Rock begins which will be performed at Highbury Theatre.

We pride ourselves in the professionalism of our plays and to help with that, we also arrange professional classes from Musical Directors, choreography, experienced performers and many other experts to assist the children in improving their stagecraft and acting skills.

New to Script Youth Musical Theatre Company is the launch of Script Youth Juniors which is for ages 9-15 and will be more focused on stage craft, vocal work, audition practice, dance and characterisation which will allow younger children to grow in skills and confidence to aid them to excel in future productions in both Script Youth and Script Youth Jr. Their first show will be Peter Pan performing September 2023!
